After years of undergoing annual skin biopsies due to tanning bed use and sunburns, and experiencing dissatisfaction with sunless tanning products, I became determined to find a better solution after my father’s melanoma diagnosis in 2017. This led to the creation of Simply Tan, a business focused on providing high-quality, natural-looking spray tans while promoting skin cancer awareness and protection. My 12-year fashion merchandising career with brands like Tory Burch and Ralph Lauren taught me the importance of confidence and self-expression, and Simply Tan extends that by empowering clients to feel confident in their own skin.

Simply Tan uses solutions and products with the mission to provide the most natural, most effective, longest lasting, and most even-fading solutions on the market. When mixed with water the solution produces no color at all and actually goes on clear, because of this a bronzer is included in each solution. Bronzers wash completely off in your first shower after getting sprayed. The bronzer matches the tan that will develop, so what you see when your spray tan is complete is what you get- no surprises.

YOUR SKIN SETS THE TONE
Everyone’s skin is so unique. Simply Tan offers 9 different DHA concentrations and colors to suit every skin type for the most natural-looking tan. During each consultation, we record your skin type based on your complexion, ethnicity, and how your skin burns or tans. This allows us to give consistent natural tans at every appointment.
Vacation spray?
Book as close to the day you leave as possible.
Event or special occasion spray?
Book 2 to 3 days before your event date.
IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Are you pregnant? You must be at least 12 weeks pregnant to book your appointment. We do use an all-natural, water-based spray tan solution and will require a nose plug during the appointment. However, even with these precautions, we still require you to be 12+ weeks pregnant for the appointment.
Manicures and pedicures must be done 24+ hours in advance of your appointment.
Shave the night before or morning of your appointment.
Exfoliate the night before or morning of your appointment.
Shower at least 4 hours before your appointment.
The day of your appointment you should NOT use:
- Lotions
- Oils
- Perfume
- Deodorant
- Makeup (this is okay to remove right before your appointment)
Why?
If you apply products after you exfoliate then you’ve just created a barrier between your skin and the spray tan solution! This will also ensure a flawless fade out.
Remove ALL jewelry.
Put your hair up and make sure that it’s out of your face.
Female clients may tan in a bathing suit or undergarments (bra optional).
Male clients MUST wear an undergarment or bathing suit.
Loose clothing is best. Think t-shirt and sweatpants! Whatever you decide to wear will get solution on it so make sure it’s dark or an item that it not of value to you.
No hats.
No sunglasses.
Your spray tan artist will give you personalized instructions on when to rinse off after your appointment.
Please avoid all water until your rinse-off time!
Your spray tan artist will also recommend products to use at home on your skin to ensure a longer-lasting tan.
